The authors of Rats Mod invented very interesting behavior mechanics for these animals. First of all, it is worth noting that they are very timid and will always run away from the player during the daytime.
In total, players can find 4 variants of rodents, they differ in color. There are white, brown, black, and gray rats. All of them are united by the presence of health in 8 units. If the hero attacks an animal, it can cause damage of 3 units.
At night, with the help of raw beef, these creatures can be tamed and used in the future to protect the house. They will attack absolutely all monsters in Minecraft PE.
More Animals
Another addition that also offers players to diversify the set of domesticated rodents, but also adds a lot of other animals to Minecraft PE.
The rats themselves are presented in several colors. And can be obtained using spawn eggs in the Inventory of the Creative Mode. They drop raw meat after themselves, which can be cooked in the future.
