What’s new in Minecraft 1.18.10.21?
Minecraft update 1.18.10.21 titled “Caves and Cliffs Part 2” affected world generation.
So, now caves can stretch up to minus 64!

New generation of caves
In the new Minecraft PE 1.18.10.21 update, Mojang Studios developers have created a new generation of caves.
In Minecraft 1.18.10.21, the bedrock does not appear at a height of 0 to 4, but at a level of -64.
In place of the old bedrock generation, there is now a transition from stone to slate blocks.
Along with this, the developers have changed the frequency of the appearance of ores.
For example, diamond ore generates unevenly below Y = 16, reaching a maximum around Y = −64.
Rolling blocks
Minecraft update 1.18.10.21 brought new rolling blocks with their own functionality to the game.
There are three used blocks and two decorative blocks in total.
Shriker is able to scream with negative effects.
The sensor in Minecraft 1.18.10.21 can pick up sound signals around it and transmit them to the first block, activating it.
The Catalyst can collect experience nearby and grow rolling veins in the place of killed mobs.
All of these blocks can be used to guard the base and can be found in very deep caves.
Dark Effect
The new Minecraft PE 1.18.10.21 update has a new negative dark effect.
It is capable of very darkening the user’s screen, obstructing the view.
You can get it by disturbing the rolling pin.
Other changes in MCPE 1.18.10.21
- Defenders no longer appear on patrols;
- lightning in Minecraft 1.18.10.21 no longer has a shadow;
- fixed an issue with terrain display.
