Minecraft PE 1.16.1 – What’s New?
The developers from Mojang Studios after Minecraft 1.16.0 Nether Update decided to release another release, in which they worked on the Infernal update. The game has new mobs, biomes and even blocks.
Creatures
After the release of Minecraft PE 1.16.1, the player’s number of enemies increased by three units at once. These creatures were the so-called piglins, hoglins and zoglins .
In addition, one more mob has appeared in the Hellish world, but it is neutral in relation to the player – strider . The most interesting thing is that the user can tame it and then control it.
Also in Minecraft PE 1.16.1 there is now a more violent type of piglins – brutal piglins , which are not distracted by gold.
Blocks
In Minecraft 1.16.1 Nether Update, the nether world really became diverse. The game has been updated with a lot of new blocks . Among them there are both decorative and blocks designed for specific purposes.
Of the latter, it is worth noting the Respawn Anchor and Target Block . With the help of the first, the player can be revived right in Hell. And the target block, in turn, gives a signal of a red stone when an arrow hits it.

New locations have appeared with creatures in Minecraft PE 1.16.1. There are 4 of them:

In addition to biomes, Minecraft PE 1.16.1 has two new generations: the remains of the bastion and the destroyed portal.
Nether
The most durable material in Minecraft 1.16.1. To obtain netherite, you need to smelt the ore of ancient remains and obtain netherite scrap . And by combining this scrap with gold, the player can get a netherite ingot.
To upgrade their diamond items, the user just needs to connect this item with an ingot of netherite.
FACT: Netherite items do not burn in lava.
Fixes in Minecraft PE 1.16.1
Naturally, the developers did not forget about working on bugs in Minecraft 1.16.1:
- incorrect skins work in a multiplayer game;
