Shulkers are found in the small town of the region, on “ships”. After their death, a “shulker shell” drops out from which you can craft a shulker chest.
City of the edge

There you can find chests with weapons, tools and a rare drop – wings.
Warning: The Ender City can be guarded by Shulkers, so be sure to take your weapon.
Corus Flower

You can melt the corus fruit and get an ingredient for crafting: an end rod, a purple block, a shulker shell.
Winter Biome

Polar bear
The polar bear is another creature in Minecraft 1.0.0. It is neutral and lives in the winter biome. The bear will attack in case of threat to the life of the cub or to himself.
